What to Expect?

This is two to four days of uninterrupted crafting time, whether you enjoy scrapbooking, knitting, painting, quilting, card-making, or whatever you do!  Our group centers around the paper crafting arts, but many of us bring and enjoy other creative outlets as well.

What makes our Retreats so special is the people.

We have a group of ladies, some who have been creating together for over 20 years, and they are truly the best.  This is a place where news and politics are set aside, stresses are left at home, and we come together to laugh, create, help one another, and support each other as friends.

We have just two meals a day, so you will not spend your precious time going back and forth to the dining hall or watching the clock!  Twice a day, we stretch our legs and take a walk down to the Dining Hall, which has an even closer lake view.  For those who need assistance, there are two accessible bathrooms and you are welcome to drive down to close parking for your meals.  We have found the food to be delicious and plentiful, year after year, and I'm sure you will really enjoy it!

This is an all-inclusive retreat, with meals, 24/7 coffee & tea service, all linens and towels provided. There are fans and hair dryers in each room, if desired.

Asbury's Wilmott Lodge is comfortable, clean, and spacious. You can even upgrade to our very own private room, at my Retreats.  There is a shared bathroom between every two rooms, so you can request a room-mate or suite-mate if desired.

The Lodge is equipped with two kitchenettes, with a microwave, coffee maker, hot water for teas and hot cocoa... and we all bring snacks to share.

We have plenty of electrical outlets and extension cords for all your crafting machines, comfortable chairs, and 6" tables available for all.

As your Retreat Host, I invite you to join us this fall!  I also have two co-hosts, one for each main crafting area, Deb Miller and Missi Davis, who help ensure that you are welcomed and have a great time with us.

So, I hope you will join us this fall, kick back, relax, play a motivating game if you like (to inspire your crafting!), maybe win a prize, make new friends, and spend time doing the things you truly enjoy.
